TATTOOS

- Do you like tattoos? Why/why not?

- Where would you go to get a tattoo?

- Do you prefer black and white ones or colour ones?

- Are tattoos only for young people?

- Would you tattoo your face/neck?

- Do you have any tattoos?

- Is one tattoo enough?

- Can tattoos be removed? How?

- If you could have only one tattoo, what would you choose?

- Would you use a boyfriend/girlfriend's name?

  1. I like tattos a lot but when you get the first one you cannot stop. People usually say that. I have two tattos and sometimes I think of getting another one but I think two are enough, at least for me. There are stereotypes regarding tattos and the people who have them that Shouldn´t be taken for granted. All kinds of people can have tattos and that does not mean they are crooks, evils or something negative.
I am in favour of tattos and I like the black and white ones.

    1. You're totally right when you talk about stereotypes.Like you, I prefer the black and white ones. I'm getting one soon. My first one! I haven't had it before because I'm afraid of the pain.
Just one thing: evil (it's an adjective).

    2. Once you start you will want some more. It is a good idea to get one. Xxx

  2. Personally, I don't like tattoos. There is nothing wrong with them or the people that have tattoos. In fact, I find some of them aesthetically beautiful, but I don't think I would ever get one (I also think never say never...). Right now, I am not able to decide what I would get tattooed because I know I would get tired of it. Besides, tattoos fade over time and get like blurry on the edges and I don't like that.

Answering to other questions: if I had to choose, I prefer black and white tattoos, I don't think tattoos are necessarily for young people, and I would definitely not tattoo my face or neck.

    1. I would not use a boyfriend/girlfriend's name just like I wouldn't use a philosophical phrase or thought because it is likely that in the future I won't think the same way and that person is no longer my boyfriend/girlfriend 😂

    2. I totally agree with you:a partner's name isn't the best idea.
Like you, I used to think I'd never get one, but a few years ago, I changed my mind. I'm getting a daffodil one soon.
Just a little mistake: to answer isn't followed by to when it means contestar. Answer to means something else. Can you look it up for me?

    3. Thank you! I always doubt wether I have to use 'to' or not with that verb. I have found two different meanings for answer: to solve (a problem) and to respond (the doorbell).
Btw, daffodils are very beautiful flowers :)

    4. I love daffodils. I have some in my garden.
For me to answer to has a different meaning, but I guess there are several. I was thinking of this when I asked you:
to be required to explain one's actions to (someone). e.g. He has to answer to a tough boss.
And a couple of things: it's to answer the doorbell.
Can you give me an example in which it means to solve a problem? I cannot think of anything. Maybe it's simply an expression I don't know.

  3. Some or them are nice. In a sense, this kind of paintings could be considered Art.
Nevertheless, from my point of view, some of them seem such a kind of exageration. Not a simple tatoo but when there are many of them.
Still, It could be considered a part of a culture because it is a way of being a part of the group. In fact, it is a kind of comunication.
I don't know what people with the name of a former partner think seeing it everyday. Specially if there was a bad end in the breakdown. I didn't asked about it but I remember someone hiding a little tatoo with her watch.
I think they can be released using a laser thechnique if they doen't bear it.
But, my point of view is only because this is not my cup of tea. Or because some are too 'baroquish' or overelaborate.
Be it as it may, all my considerations have to be in the distance because I hate any kind of needle near my body.

    1. I don't mind needles much (a blood test, for example), but this is going to hurt more, I guess.
The verb you wanted to use is to remove: they can be removed with laser.
      Thanks.
