I am not sure if this cheers me up. George Donaldson was my friend and he died too young which is such a sad loss. One memory I have of him is performing in jinty mcginty's bar next to Glasgow university. It was just after he became a father and the joy he exuded that night filled the whole bar. I am glad many people outside got to hear his great voice.
