I think the meaning of this expression is " the things are improving". In this case, this occurs when a town or ruins are renovated so that they can be visited by tourists and thus the area improves. Then I choose the first picture because you are talking about tourism.
ReplyDeleteExactly, and even if the town doesn't change at all, the summer usually brings more tourists, more jobs and more money.
