I agree with the fake tree. Although I use to put a Belen, I would say that it seems to me the best option, overall, as Rebecca write, because the climate. I think that real trees are more beautiful, but you have a point when you say that it's not good for the environment to cut so many firs down. I have a nativity scene at home and a tiny fake tree I bought for my eldest son when he was little.

Yes, real trees are definitely more beautiful. However, as Carlos says, maybe it's not a good idea to cut down trees.
