Vocabulary

Can you tell me what a turnstile is? Do you know where you could find one?

  1. A turnstile is a mechanism installed in doors or gates to make people come only one at a time.
    It is used in places where you have to pay an entrance fee. You can see some of these mechanisms for example in the exit of Metro stations, the entrance to exhibitions or exit of an amusement park or zoo...
