Born in the USA, her grandfather had emigrated from Ireland (now, Northen Irland, UK). She began writing for a Newspaper in Pensilvania and then in New York. Apparenntly, she had a great curriculum, as a journalist, inventor, activist... Her name is a pen name. It was a common fact for women writers. She even stood up against the goverment of Mexico. She called the President a tyrannical czar for controlling the press. In New York, she was in a Women Mental Health Hospital investigating the brutality to inmates and their deplorable conditions. She travelled around the world, as Phileas Fogg did in the novel by Jules Verne (Around the World in 80 days). She met him in France. Her life has been showed in Theater, Films and Television.
Many times, I was to say, some people think women simply didn't do things in the past but, this woman or Amelia Earhart..., Fernán Caballero (Cecilia Böld de Faber), here, and some painters signing with her husband name say something different. (Those dust motes brought these muds)
