You're right. Globalisation isn't always good. Many years ago, I read a novel in which all the characters were Eskimos. It was also turned into a film. I was going to tell you I didn't remember the title, but I have just remembered it: Top of the World by Hans Ruesch. It's really good. Have you read it?
