Now that we have practised counting syllables, we are going to write a cinquain poem.
A cinquain poem is a type of poem classified by the number of syllables each line in the poem has. It was created by an American poet, Adelaide Crapsey, in the early twentieth century.
The poem typically consists of five lines, using the following structure:
Line 1: 2 syllables.
Line 2: 4 syllables.
Line 3: 6 syllables.
Line 4: 8 syllables.
Line 5: 2 syllables.
And something I forgot: cinquains don't rhyme.

Extreme - More Than Words
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy
It would be to show me how you feel
Is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me
'Cause I'd already know
If my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"
More than words
La di da, da di da
Talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands
And touch me
Hold me close, don't ever let me go
Is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me
'Cause I'd already know
If my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"
More than words
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words
La di da, da di da, la da da
More than words

Can you write a story using exactly 50 words?
Remember a story must have a beginning, a middle and an end. You can read an example below:
The fat woman stared at Willow. She had beautiful hazel eyes and a sweet face, but her dress was too tight and her hips too wide. She looked sad and tired.
After a while, Willow left. She hated that awful mirror.
'I'm going on a diet,' she told her husband.
