I like all her books, even Lady Susan and the unfinished ones. And I have read loads of Austen-inspired novels. Maybe my least favourite is Northanger Abbey. I love Persuasion.
I think both films are similar, if my memory is good... I recommend you the bridgerton if you like the stories about the high society.. I don't know if this expression is correct
Sorry. I wanted to say " could not finish". I do not know what I was thinking about. Marian, Is that TV series about love? I have heard positive things about it but I do not usually like the TV series that are based on other historical periods. Thank you.
DAphne, the Bridgestone is about love, but also about the goings-on in Nobility, and the importance of marriage for young ladies in that epoque. I liked the way the subject is treated, but anyway I like historical series, for example Downtown abbey is very different, but also quite interesting, and The Crown, of course
I like the book, the film and the actor...
ReplyDeleteSame here.😊
DeleteI've only seen the film and I liked it too much, many years ago I tried to started the book but for my it wasn't as interesting as the film.
ReplyDeleteSorry, for me*
ReplyDeleteI love everything Jane Austen has written. The film is good, but I think the TV series is better.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your opinion, girls.
I started to watch the film but I could not finished it because it was unbearable. I prefer "Sense and sensibility".

I haven't watched it, but my daughter loves it. She's even bought the books.
