It's a George Eliot quote. Her real name is Mary Ann Evans. She was an English novelist, poet, journalist, translator, and one of the leading writers of the Victorian era. I did not know her, but after reading about her I am very interested in reading a novel, especially Middlemarch, whose review is staggeringly brilliant. I definitely agree with the quote. You should never give up on what you really like, even if you think it is too late. With a little motivation, anything is possible.

He was an incredible woman. I've only read two of her books (there isn't time for everything): The Mill on the Floss and Silas Marner.
