Three weeks

Locked in a space

With no garden,

No fresh air

No breathing

The windows had bars…

But at least I was better.

I was allowed to walk around.

To go to the common room

Full of people with empty stares.

A patient screaming a doctor’s name.

And the doctor’s threats 

To send her to an even more horrible place.

The other day we talked about flash fiction in class and I told you to write a 50-word story. This kind of

This is the story I wrote myself:

Petal loved her little cat more than anything in the world. Her parents were important, but when she had 

a problem she confided in Spots.

Spots and Petal spent all their time together.

Then Petal grew up and she realized her beloved cat was just a soft toy. So sad!
